Shams

The story of Shams and Rumi is known throughout the world — a tale that needs no introduction. Maryam Banoo, one of the owners and managers of this residence, holds a deep admiration for the lives and works of these two great Persian mystics and poets, especially Shams Tabrizi. To honor his memory, she named one of the mansion’s main rooms “Shams”, personally designing and painting its interior so that the warm, mythical energy of Persian mystical poetry flows through every corner of the space. We hope you, too, will feel and be inspired by this radiant spiritual energy during your stay.
